The Lounge Community Cafe
Welcome to The Lounge Community Café situated in the heart of the village square, Alvechurch.
Our café offers a warm, modern and welcoming space to all, serving hot and cold food and drinks, with locally sourced coffee from Iron and Fire, all food is prepared on site and is available to be eaten in or taken out.
The café is open Tues – Sat 9.00am – 3.00pm (with last food orders taken at 2.00pm). We are proud to say we hold a 5* Food hygiene rating and offer hot food specials, cooked breakfasts, a selection of sandwiches, panini’s, kids meals and delicious home baked cakes. We can cater for dietary requirements. So come and visit us, you can walk in and find a table or book to avoid disappointment.
(The café can seat up to 25. High chairs and baby changing are available and the café is fully accessible.) We are also dog friendly.
All proceeds from the café are reinvested back into the community through our charitable youth and community groups.

The Lounge Lottery
The Lounge runs a monthly draw (£5 per number, per month). The draw takes place at the end of each month, with cash prizes up for grabs for first, second and third place.
Half the proceeds go to The Lounge Charity and the rest is split between the winners. Payment can be by standing order or cash within the café.

Staffing/Volunteering Opportunities:
We have an amazing volunteer team who support our community café, youth and friendship matters sessions and we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without them.
The Trustees of Alvechurch Communities Together, volunteer their time to support the continuation and development of the charity, serving the community through The Lounge Community café and charitable community projects.
