Alvechurch Coach Tragedy

As most of you are no doubt aware, tragedy struck our community on Sunday 20th of February when a coach carrying a ski party of children, teachers and assistants from Alvechurch Middle School, crashed on the return leg of the holiday in Italy, killing a much loved teacher, Peter Rippington and injuring many other people, children included.

Many people in the local villages and beyond, will be deeply affected by these events and members of ACT and The Lounge wish to express our condolences to Peter’s family and wish a full and speedy recovery to all those injured and affected by the accident.

The Lounge’s youth nights will continue as normal with the youth workers offering help and advice to anyone that feels they need someone to talk to.

Below are a list of numbers and contacts that may be of some assistance in these times.
