Jan & Paul Brice-Chamberlain organised a Xmas 'Acoustic Roots' event at the social club on Dec 23rd and kindly donated all door and raffle proceeds to The Lounge.

Free Wi-Fi Coming To The Lounge Soon

ACT and The Lounge are pleased to announce that we are about to begin testing Free Wi-Fi access for the general public.

Over the next few weeks we will b200px-Wi-Fi Logo_svge installing wireless internet access that will allow customers of The Lounge to get onto the internet using their own hardware, allowing you the convenience of using your equipment, whilst enjoying a cup of coffee and cake in a friendly environment.

A notice will be posted here when it is up and running, along with terms and conditions and guides on staying safe.

Would you or someone you know be interested in taking a first aid course at a discounted rate?

We all hope this is something we would never have to face, but in a medical emergency, would you know what to?

Group-Image “I have lived in the village for 2 years after moving from Southampton.  My background of working with young people stems from my involvement in The Gantry Youth Theatre where I progressed from being a member to a tutor.  I also gained valuable experience from a variety of projects, such as dealing with young people who have been excluded from schools and those at risk of offending,

in conjunction with the NSPCC, to stage managing an award winning youth production in The Jermyn Street Theatre, London. I have also worked in prisons as a Drama & IT Tutor, and as a Drug Advisory Worker with adult offenders.

Youth Club serving refreshments for Comic Relief
